The Return of Marvel’s Most Iconic Rivalry
Let’s be real for a second—Marvel just isn't the same without the brilliance and ego of Victor von Doom. Whether you’re hyped about his upcoming cinematic return or you’ve been a comic book purist for decades, there is no denying that Doctor Doom is the ultimate antagonist. At our Minifigure Toys brand, we’ve seen a huge wave of collectors looking for more than just a generic green cape. You want the metallic mask, the intricate armor, and the presence that only the ruler of Latveria can command.
Our 2026 collection of LEGO-compatible custom sets is all about bringing that high-stakes rivalry with the Fantastic Four to your shelf. We aren't talkin’ about mass-produced, simple toys here. We’re talking about independent custom designs that capture the grit and the "science-meets-magic" vibe of the Fantastic Four universe. If you’re ready to turn your display into a battleground for Earth’s fate, this guide is your roadmap.
Doctor Doom: The Iron-Fisted Sovereign
Capturing Victor von Doom in a small scale is all about the textures. Our Doctor Doom minifigure features a custom-molded mask that actually looks like forged metal, not just a flat grey print. We’ve gone all-out on the 2026 edition, including a premium fabric cape that drapes naturally and detailed torso printing that showcases his mechanical suit underneath the tunic. At our Minifigure Toys brand, we believe the "God Emperor" version of Doom deserves a spot on every shelf, so we’ve made sure the print durability is top-tier.
Mr. Fantastic: The Smartest Man in the Room
Reed Richards is a tough one to get right because of his powers, but our Mr. Fantastic custom figure tackles this perfectly. Instead of just standard arms, our 2026 sets often include "stretched" limb attachments that you can swap out. We’ve focused on the classic blue and black uniform with the signature "4" emblem. It’s a clean, professional design that reflects Reed’s methodical and brilliant mind.
The Invisible Woman & The Human Torch
You can't have the team without Sue and Johnny. Our Invisible Woman minifigure uses a unique semi-translucent plastic on the limbs to give her that "fading away" look—it’s a detail you just won’t find in basic retail sets. Meanwhile, the Human Torch custom figure is a literal standout. We’ve used a vibrant orange-yellow translucent mold for his "Flame On" mode, complete with flame accessories that clip onto his hands. These two bring the perfect visual contrast to any Marvel display.
The Thing: It’s Clobberin’ Time!
Ben Grimm needs to look big and tough, so our The Thing minifigure is built with a slightly bulkier "Big Fig" style or a heavily textured standard mold to show his rock-like skin. We’ve spent a lot of time on the orange skin tones and the blue shorts to make sure he looks like the lovable powerhouse we all know. He’s the anchor of the team and looks incredible standing next to a classic Doctor Doom.
